One‑on‑one program
A thirty‑day one‑on‑one program. Begins with intake, includes a recorded ninety‑minute session, and ends with a custom working plan for your studio.
Four spaces per month.
I've been teaching for most of my adult life — in person, online, in full‑time programs, and in workshops.
The pattern I see most often in artists struggling with direction is not laziness. They are working hard. They are practicing. They are showing up. But they do not have a clear picture of what they are working toward — not in a motivational sense, but literally and aesthetically. What kind of paintings do you want to make? What do you actually like to look at? What is the effect you are after?
Studio Mentorship is built around getting honest about those questions, and then building a working plan that fits how you actually paint. It is a one‑on‑one workshop for artists of all levels who want a clearer process and voice, and a way to organize their existing skills into a sustainable practice.
We start with a careful intake. Then we meet on Zoom for ninety minutes to look at your work and your practice, and name what you are actually after. Within three days, I deliver a full interactive thirty‑day schedule tailored to you, with techniques and processes to prioritize, and a routine you can walk back into the studio with the next morning.
The process
What's included
Included · 01
We look at your recent work, talk through where you are and where you want to be, and start designing the structure of your next month. The recording is yours — most clients return to it more than once.
Included · 02
After the session I build a structured plan specific to you — not a template. It's a working dashboard, not just a schedule, drawn from our conversation and the questions in your intake. The work to focus on, the order to approach it in, the questions to keep asking yourself, and a clear daily and weekly shape you can actually follow. Format is tailored to what works for you.
Included · 03
Part of what you're paying for is candor. I'll tell you what I see, including the things that are harder to hear. The point is to help you actually move.
The fit
This is for painters working seriously on their practice who want help organizing their thinking, their materials, and their direction into a working plan they can actually follow. People developing an artistic voice and a process that fits them — using the tools they already have, the interests they already hold, and the taste they're already building.
Not for absolute beginners. If you're past the early stages and looking for someone to help you see your practice from the outside and build a real structure around it, this is for you.
Why now
I'm running these sessions with a small number of clients over the next two months while I develop the larger methods.art program launching in July. I'm offering them now, in a one‑on‑one container, to a few people who want to work this way directly with me. Four spaces per month. When they're full, they're full.
